Sheikhs Urged to Support Halaal Department with Wisdom
Islamic scholars in Malawi have been called upon to apply wisdom (Hikma) in supporting the work of the Halaal Department (HD) and to refrain from actions that may create confusion within the Muslim community.
The HD in Collaboration with MAM, Signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) With Islamic Relief Malawi.
The Halaal Department of the Muslim Association of Malawi (HD-MAM), in collaboration with its parent organization, the Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM), has formally entered into an agreement with Islamic Relief Malawi on 5th February 2026.
Members of the World Halaal Council (WHC) Commit to Collaboration
The World Halaal Council (WHC) convened its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Qurtuba Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa, from November 12th to 14th, 2025.
